International Cooperation
The Program for the Strategic Development of the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE for the period till 2025 defines essential issues as to international activity of the Institute. The most important are as follows: increasing international cooperation, activating the participation of teachers, students and academic staff at academic projects and programs of international organizations and the EU, double diploma programs, etc.
Under the agreements with international educational establishments, the Institute has successful cooperation with the partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Georgia, Latvia, Moldova, Northern Cyprus, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic (total of 24 agreements)

Work on signing of partnership agreements with foreign educational establishments is underway.
Cooperation with our international partners focus mostly in the following areas:
Scientists of the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics have opportunity to publish their works in scientific bulletins of the partner educational establishments on a free of charge basis at: Staropolskyi University, the University of Economics in Katowice, UNION University, Higher School of Economics and Public Administration.
The joint work in this area continues with our partners. Under this cooperation, in January 2019 in Bratislava the research seminar was initiated and held by the Department of Accounting and Taxation jointly with the Higher School of Economics and Management. On the Ukrainian side, the event was attended by 18 scholars with international internship certificates awarded.
We continue our constant and mutually fruitful work under the contract with the Stefan cel Mare University in Suceava. In addition to organizing joint participation in the Erasmus + Academic Mobility Program, the round table on "Strengthening the Role of the Upper Prut Euroregion in the Convergence of Cross-border Areas" was organized and held in Chernivtsi together with the University of Suceava. In Suceava, the roundtable was attended by the Rector and the Vice-Rector of the university, the District Council Heads of the Suceava and Botoshan districts, and by representatives of the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics as well as by the authorities of the region on behalf of Chernivtsi. Joint international conferences were organized in May 2018, November 2020 and May 2021.
An agreement with the Higher School of Economics and Management of Public Administration in Bratislava was reached on the participation of students of Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics in the Project, created in cooperation with the members of the Digital Coalition, and the IT Association of Slovakia with the State University of Trade and Economics.
In order to identify new opportunities for the participation of teachers and students of the Institute in the implementation of international programs and projects, to receive international grants and scholarships, a systematic search in the bases of grants, Department of International Relations participates in seminars held within the academic programs of foreign foundations and foundations.
