Roundtable «Combining efforts due to the achieving
of global aimes of sustainable development»
On October 27, 2017, at the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of KNUTE, was held a roundtable "Combining efforts due to the achieving of global aimes of sustainable development” in the framework of the project of an Austrian Development Agency and the United Nations Development Programme. The moderator of the event was Vasyl Kyfiak, Deputy Director on Scientific, Methodological Work and International Affairs.
The Project Coordinator in Chernivtsi region Natalya Belyukina spoke about the methodology and approaches for the sustainable development of rural areas as part of the implementation of pro-OON projects. Vitalina Karliichuk, the project coordinator from Chernivtsi Regional Administration and the Head of local public organization “Business Center” Olga Dmytriuk were also presented their speeches.
Speeches by representatives of the Institute L. Gut and A. Vdovichen "Activities of CHITE KNUTE to promote sustainable development in Ukraine".
At the end of the round table was a significant event - signing of a memorandum of understanding between UNDP and the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of KNUTE on the intention to join efforts to promote the global goals of sustainable development.
Discussion of presentations at the round table were fruitful and useful. In the nearest future there are new horizons of cooperation.
