Summer practical training in Bulgaria
June 2018. In 2014 and 2015, students of CHITE KNUTE had an opportunity to have practical trainings at hotels in Greece for 3 months. Unfortunately, due to the situation on the labor market of this country, the hotels were forced to refuse to invite students from other countries, including from Ukraine.
Taking into account the importance of obtaining practical skills in hotels abroad, the Institute has been working to find opportunities for students to have practical trainings outside of Ukraine. At the beginning of April 2018, an agreement was concluded between CHITE KNUTE and Smart Tour (Bulgaria), which provides practical trainings for our students in hotels in the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria.
The agreement provides payment by the firm of travel to Bulgaria and back to Chernivtsi, food and accommodation at the expense of hotels, a 6-days working week with one day-off, monthly salary of not less than 250 euros.
At the beginning of April, it was announced about application period for students, but unfortunately, there was not much to be desired, although the firm was ready to accept a significant number of students. As a result, 10 students went to have practical training: 6 students from the Faculty of Management, Service and Food Technology, and 4 students from the Faculty of Finance and Economics. These are students: Sukhar Yulia, Tetiana Gutsuliak, Volodymyr Ponych, Oksana Klevchuk, Opolska Lesia, Manik Olexandra, Byndiu Anastasia - 3rd year students, Sidlyarchuk Dmytro and Grigoryak Arsen - 2nd year students and Bobrova Victoria - 1st year student.
On June 7, students arrived in Sunny Beach and on June and they began work at the Coliseum Hotel. Klevchuk Oksana was forced to start her practice at the Hotel Helena on June 6, due to family circumstances. Duration of practice - 3 months.
Simultaneously with the acquisition of practical skills, students will have the opportunity to earn a cash of 750 euros and relax on the beach. We hope that the list of students for practical training in 2019 will increase significantly.
Here are the first impressions that the head of the group Tetiana Gutsuliak shared: "Thank you sincerely for the work you have done! We are happy with everything! They settled perfectly, the room for 3 people, there is a shower, toilet, TV, refrigerator and balcony, clean and cozy. Already had time to swim and have a walk, the food is tasty. As for the postitions, we do not know exactly how we will work, because the owner of the hotel wants first to take 2 girls at the reception, one girl - maid and kitchen, and rest – as waiters and doormen.
