International public expert online discussion
devoted to Europe Day
«European Progress of Ukraine: problems, expectations and future prospects»
In May 2020, the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration hosted an International Public Expert Online Discussion devoted to Europe Day on " European Progress of Ukraine: problems, expectations and future prospects."
Issues under discussion were:
- European integration: new challenges for political, legal and economic rapprochement with EU countries;
- Interregional and cross-border instruments of European integration: achievements, lessons, problems and prospects
- Development of professional competencies of civil officials as a means of implementing the European integration course of Ukraine.
The following people took part in the discussion and delivered speeches: Serhiy Osachuk - Head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration; Inga Makovetska - First Deputy Chairman of the Chernivtsi Regional Council; Oleksii Kaspruk - Chernivtsi City Mayor; Valentyn Baliuk - Professor, Deputy Director of the Institute of Political Science and Administration of the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Lublin, Poland); Daniel Seiberling - Director of the Hans Seidel Foundation in Ukraine - Project Manager of the Foundation in Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Romania; Dorin Popescu - Doctor of Philosophy, Diplomat, Chairman of the Association "CasaMariiNegre / BlackSeaHouse" (Constanta, Romania); Igor Kozhokaru - Expert of the Sustainable Development Agency (Brasov, Romania); Denut Ungureanu - Doctor, Advisor to the Agency of Mountain Regions (Vatra Dornei, Romania).

Deputy Director, Professor Vasyl Kyfiak took part in the discussion representing CHITE KNUTE.
