Center of postgraduate studies
Center of postgraduate studies is a structural subdivision of Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of KNUTE, which more than 20 years implements important for the Institute directions of activity and successfully competes in the segment of postgraduate and business education. Center of postgraduate studies provides retraining that is absolutely important nowadays, when most enterprises terminated their activity and it led to employment layoffs of specialists with higher non-core education – physics, mathematics, optics, engineers, etc. Then small business started to develop and it demanded from the employees deep knowledge in economics. That's why the center of postgraduate studies was established and it solves problems of retraining.
The center of postgraduate studies was formed on the basis of the Faculty of Postgraduate education that was operating till 2009. One of its tasks was to give second higher education.
Devoted work of lecturers and staff of the center of postgraduate studies was resulted into its talented graduates. Among them there are: Yurii Koroliuk –Doctor of Sciences in Public Administration, Associate Professor, Deputy Director on Scientific and Pedagogical work and innovation development at ChITE KNUTE; Arsenii Yatseniuk – Prime Minister of Ukraine (2014 – 2016); Valerii Chynush – General Director of Hotel and Tourist complex "Bukovyna"; Ihor Bohatyrets - Director of State Financial Inspection of Regional State Administration; Vasyl Vizniuk –Director of –"Chernivtsi chemical plant"; Mykola Hrinchuk – PhD, Director of the Center of postgraduate studies (2009 – 2012); Viacheslav Dobrovolskyi – President of Tekhno plus" Ltd; Volodymyr Dorosh – Chairman of the closed joint-stock company, the plant "Antena"; Manolii Plaksii – General Director of "Plafena" Ltd; Ihor Shkrobanets – General Director of the Department of state enterprise "State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine"; Dmytro Shulha – Head of the Chernivtsi regional administration of DSU "State Fund for Youth Housing"; Serhii Tymchyshyn – Director of "Chernivtsi insulation materials plant" Ltd; Volodymyr Dmytriuk – Director of Chernivtsi Transport College; Mykola Kyryliuk – Director of Chernivtsi Commercial College of KNUTE, and many others. Our Institute is proud of such graduates.
