Department of Marketing, Digital Economics and Entrepreneurship
General Information
The Department of Marketing, Digital Economics and Entrepreneurship of Chernivtsi Trade and Economics Institute of SUTE was established in 2000. The work of the Department is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of marketing, digital economics and entrepreneurship.
Department trains students majoring in the following specialities:
- Bachelor's Degree:
075 «Marketing»;
076 «Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activity»;
- Master's Degree:
075 «Marketing».
All the members of the Department are highly qualified scientific and pedagogical workers with practical experience and constant professional development at enterprises and higher educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad. There are 11 professors, most of whom are Candidates in Economic Sciences, and Associate Professors. Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Olha H. Vdovichena (danpol@ukr.net) is the Head of the Department.
Department members focus their work mostly on educational, methodological, research and educational issues. Professors are the authors of numerous monographs, manuals, educational and methodological tutorials, and scientific articles in the leading digests of scientific works, including those indexed in the Scopus scientometric database.
Practical training of students is carried out at small and large enterprises in the region and throughout Ukraine. Students majoring in the educational programs of the Department get the opportunity to have their internship abroad. Scientific students’ community «The Marketer», successfully operating on the basis of the Department, constantly participates in all-Ukrainian scientific Olympiads, scientific and practical conferences and contests.
